About Us

Established by Tami Guttman, while attending The University of North Texas, Metro Pet Services grew by increasing demand into a full time career. After graduating with a Bachelor's in Psychology, Tami spent four years in the medical field then turned her passion for pets into a fulltime business venture. Metro Pet delivers superb pet and home care service in the North Dallas/Plano Metroplex. All our pet sitters are life long friends and family members, as well as educated pet professionals.

Metro Pet Services is a bonded and insured company. We are a member of the Pet Sitters International, the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters and a proud supporter of the SPCA of Texas.

Our vision is to provide premium pet, plant and household services that exceed each client's expectations, at a fair price, and to become the undisputed Pet Service provider of choice in the Dallas/Plano area.

Our mission is to give each client the ultimate certainty knowing their pet is in caring hands and they are our number one priority!

In addition to our premium pet sitting services, Metro Pet created customized pet gift baskets. The pet gift basket idea originated by Linda and Tami Guttman in December 2008. The baskets started as gifts for existing clients and grew to become great gift ideas for all pet lovers!
